Uplift's Story
Uplift's story begins in 2018 when I joined a startup building software for nonprofits and local government. Over seven years of leading that company's technical team I saw a lot of the needs of nonprofits, especially smaller nonprofits and I how poorly their needs where being met by existing companies, including the one I worked for.
Most smaller nonprofits operate far from the centers of technical innovation. Many use paper records, Excel, or Google Docs to run. They work hands on with people, doing work that counts. There is very little software that fits their needs, and each org tends to have related, but different needs.
My heart is with small nonprofits, and small businesses, and it is their needs that we seek to meet.
